i have decided that when I'm older, when I have enough money saved up and I have matured and all that I am going to live in Berlin. I love the fact that I went in winter, the sky always seemed to be blue it was chilly and crispy but never rained (well at least for my visit anyway) German people have a really cool style, its just laid back,. The other great thing is the amazing arcitecture, the buildings are all very beautiful and colourful, espically in prenzaluar berg which is probably the district I'd like to live in. The streets are all spread out with cobble stones pavements and leafy trees line the streets. German people seemed very straighforward, laid back people with no bullshit surrounding them. There are galleries in hidden places, plenty of junk shops, vintage shops, little gems like that hidden around the city.
The street art is amazing, English "street art" consists of some dickhead scrawling chavvy shit in children's playgrounds or some other charmless grafitti leaving their terrotorial mark with no artistic merit. I'm interested in the history of the city. Newcastle could of been ace but its so sterile, when you look up you see loads of beautiful Edwardian buildings but when you look back down you see 'Topshop' and 'Starbucks' and a million teenage mothers waltzing in and out of Primark.
I love the crazy people on the S-bahn and U bahn. When I was on the U bahn an old man came up to me to pay me some compliments, he was completely bewildered and in awe of my metallic gold leggings I was wearing at the time, it was like he hadn't seen anything so amazing or shiny in his life. The supermarkets are cool, everything is open till late, the people are really friendly.

dancing in some grotty club in Kreuzberg.note to reader european men are gropey perverts, to be fair though the club was based in a squat in what I believe was the red light district
